"Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem"
A time of prayer for the Holy Land, sponsored by the Oratory of St. Catherine of Siena. The prayer time will include a celebration of Holy Communion by the Rev. Sandra Hutchinson. All are welcome to attend; all Christians are welcome to participate in the communion.
The focus of the prayer time is on a just, secure peace in Jerusalem and all of the surrounding region. All prayer concerns for the area are welcome, since one of the purposes of this service is to unite our various hearts and voices in prayer for the Holy Land.
Resources and information from several different organizations is made available for future prayer, study, and action.
“Pray for the Peace of the Jerusalem” is held at the Church of St. Martin and St. Augustine (Episcopal), 31 Lenox St., Roxbury, MA. It is easily accessible by the MBTA Silver Line Lenox Avenue stop, or via the Massachusetts Avenue stop on the Orange Line.
